Charity and Company Contributions

Westwind Management Group is passionate about fulfilling its purpose of Helping People Live Better Lives. While we do so every day through serving our valued client communities, we go above and beyond by doing so through charitable endeavors. We are proud to recognize our employee volunteers who serve on our Charities Committee. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back to the greater community in which we live and serve, by participating in charitable activities and events organized by our dedicated Committee members.

We support many charitable organizations throughout the year but are especially proud of our annual Colorado Classic event in which our team selects one charitable organization to support. Please see below for more information on this year’s event and prior year events.

Westwind Community Matters - 11th Annual Charity Event "Westwind Classic"

Westwind Management Group’s Charities Committee will be hosting its 11th Annual Charity event, Westwind Classic, on Friday, September 25th, 2026 from 6-9 p.m.

This year, we are seeking to sponsor an organization that provides support to individuals living with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, as well as their immediate families. This cause is close to our hearts, as several of our team members have been personally affected through loved ones battling or who have battled these diseases. We look forward to supporting an association dedicated to this important mission and hope you will consider being part of this meaningful effort.

Please be on the lookout for more information coming soon.

10th Annual "Westwind Classic" partnered with Valley Hope Foundation
In 2025, we partnered with the Valley Hope Foundation. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors and donors, we raised over $82,000 in support of Valley Hope!

Westwind Management Group’s Charities hosted its 10th Annual Charity Event, the Colorado Classic, on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Baldoria on the Water in Lakewood. The event benefited the Valley Hope Association Foundation, with all donations staying in Colorado to help individuals seeking treatment and recovery from drug and alcohol addiction.

Valley Hope’s mission is to restore lives affected by addiction and support lifelong recovery. To date, more than 350,000 people have found healing through Valley Hope, including one of our own valued team members here at Westwind.

Because of your support, we surpassed our fundraising goal and are helping provide healing and hope to individuals who may not otherwise have the financial means to access treatment. Thank you for being part of this meaningful impact.

9th Annual ”Westwind Classic” Charity Event partnered with T.A.C.T. (Teaching the Autism Community Trades)
‍
In 2024 we partnered with T.A.C.T. (Teaching the Autism Community Trades). Thanks to our generous sponsors and donors we were able to raise $55,000 to support TACT! TACT is an innovative and groundbreaking non-profit teaching skilled trade and technical skills to young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), who aims to mitigate the historical 90% unemployment rate for this community. Through its immersive, hands-on vocational training, TACT is effectively preparing young people with ASD who now represent one in 36 children for skilled trades careers. TACT offers support, education and employment covering a variety of trades including auto mechanics, computer coding, cybersecurity, carpentry, electrical, electrical vehicle conversions, 3D modeling, and welding. Visit TACT's website to learn more about them: Empowering individuals on the Autism spectrum through skilled trades | TACT (buildwithtact.org). Check out a new video about TACT – “People you should know” with Mike Rowe.

‍8th Annual ”Westwind Classic” Charity Event partnered with the Heart & Hand Center
‍
2023 we partnered with the Heart & Hand Center for youth and their families, empowering all young people to realize their potential. Heart & Hand provides nurturing, long term support to youth in Northeast Denver through daily afterschool and summer programming as well as family resources and referrals for critical needs such as housing, food or emergency funding. They also stay engaged with young people from 2nd grade to 2 years after high school graduation and host a summer camp for the students they serve. Thanks to the generous donations we were able to raise $53,000.00 which sponsored one school for their 2024 summer program.

‍Our 7th Annual ”Westwind Classic” Charity Event partnered with The Listen Foundation
‍
Westwind Community Matters hosted its 7th Annual Charity event in partnership with The Listen Foundation who help children Hear, Listen and Talk. They are dedicated to helping families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing reach their best spoken language and mainstream outcome through Listening and Spoken Language Therapy. Listen Foundation provides for and assists children who are deaf and hard of hearing and their families, with access to a proven speech, language, and listening therapy method to help them achieve a life of independence. We raised $52,000 in which all of the money raised went directly to The Listen Foundation.

‍The 6th Annual ”Westwind Classic” Charity Event partner was Sungate Kids
‍
Westwind Management Group LLC held their 6th Annual Colorado Classic event donating to Sungate Kids. With our wonderful vendors' generous support, we were able to raise $51,340 to help this inspiring cause that helps give children a voice to stop abuse. Sungate Kids was able to hire a new member to their staff to help advocate and provide support for the children they work with thanks to everyone's gracious donations.

‍In 2020 the "Westwind Classic" made a comeback with Judi's House
‍
Judi’s House is the only free-standing organization in the Metro Denver area devoted solely to providing research based care to grieving children and their families. Our goal was to raise $32,000. Our team was able to successfully navigate through a global pandemic and pivot to host a hybrid in person and virtual event where we raised a total of $33,500! None of this would be possible without the support from both Judi’s House, our valued industry partners, and our amazing participants.

‍The 4th Annual ”Westwind Classic” Charity Event partner was Brent's Place
‍
Brent's Place is a long-term home away from home for children and families with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses while they receive treatment at local hospitals. Our goal was to raise $30,000 for Brent’s Place. Thanks to our sponsors, our Westwind family, and all of the participants leading up to and at our event, we raised a total of $40,000! Those funds will be used toward providing, and furnishing, two “Safe-Clean” apartments for one year and other amenities for families during their stays.

‍Our 2018 “Westwind Classic” Charity Event partnered with Angels of Americas Fallen (AOAF)
‍
They empower children of our fallen heroes to participate in healing developmental activities such as sports, music, and other arts as positive outlets for their grief during their entire childhood. The activities already exist in their communities and AOAF also ensures mentoring throughout the time of the children’s participation in the program. Thanks to our sponsors, donors, and our Westwind family, we raised $25,000 to sponsor the Rizzo family, Isis (10) and her brother Anthony “Bubba” (7), until both graduate from the program at the age of 18.

‍2017 saw our 2nd annual "Westwind Classic" Charity Event, “A Fall Affair”
‍
Freedom Service Dogs was the beneficiary of the proceeds from the event. We donated $20,000 to sponsor THREE Disco’s Dogs families: Team Tick E, Team Tico, and Team Falkor. We also held a Kona Ice event that benefited The Kids Mobility Network and raised $2,000, enough to purchase a recreational bike for a child living with a disability.

‍In 2016, our company hosted our 1st Annual "Westwind Classic" Charity Banquet Event
‍
Over $11,000 was raised for Make-A-Wish and specifically granted the wish of one very special little boy as well as contributed to granting most of the wish for a very special little girl. We also were honored to raise money for Ralston House, collect school supplies for Cherry Creek Schools Foundation, and provide Christmas Gifts for Arapahoe County's Adopt-a-Family program.
